Yeah, sorry, I've been a bit busy lately with work, because I have a big design review on Monday. Although I did manage to squeeze a few games of war3 (3 total that I can recall) in this week, but nothing significant. Besides that, I have to watch Raptor playoff games, so I haven't had the chance to blog in a while. I'm planning to start again on Tuesday.

I tried this game on the weekend and got pretty far until I clicked on an ad by mistake and lost my progress. I think the best weapon combo is hunting rifle and chainsaw. I don't think i'll try it again though, because it took so long to get to that point and seemed a little easy...
I ended up going with the AK-47 and the sawed off shotgun. The AK was for range and the sawed off was for close combat. This worked pretty well for the last 5 levels or so. There are a total of 20 days and nights, so it's pretty easy to get to the end. It's funny when you face body armoured zombie soldiers. You can try and snipe them in the head, but it's much better to just blow away their legs. Mmmm....positional damage.
I'm gonna second the hunting rifle and chainsaw - the last level was ridiculously easy after I got the barrett sniper rifle. Semi-auto and more powerful than the hunting rifle.
There's a Barrett??? Oh crap...I stopped looking for weapons after I saw my peg board was full (?). Or maybe they updated the game. It was on Kotaku and likely jumped in popularity once it got posted.
The barrett is awesome...I was reading how the CIA gave it to the Afghans in the 80's and the Afghans used it to take out soviet planes and helicopters (on the ground that is). One 50 cal bullet through the avionics does plenty of damage.
